With solar comes a lot of misconceptions, so it’s understandable that homeowners take time to fully take in what they’re signing on for. When it comes to building a relationship with our customers, trust is where everything begins.
When this PEI homeowner saw a Polaron solar ad on Facebook, there was interest but also a fair amount of skepticism. Like with anything you see on the internet, it’s always best to take time and do your own research. Polaron’s goal is never to add pressure when customers are considering their options.
With any quote, Polaron also schedules a free consultation session with an experienced solar specialist. Tony was assigned to this project and did a wonderful job thoroughly explaining how solar works and answering all the homeowner’s questions.
“Not once did Tony make me feel rushed, or forcefully contacted me to move forward. I very much appreciated this. I have the mindset that if the business is chasing you, there’s something wrong.”
It’s important to be understanding when customers communicate that they need more time to digest all the information they’re receiving. Solar is a commitment for the next few decades, so working with customers until they feel fully certain is a huge part of the job.
In the end, this project did take a little longer to install but we wouldn’t have had it any other way. Now this 14.24kW project is officially complete. With just one month of production, the system has generated over 1000 kWh of power!
“I feel so confident in this decision and am absolutely thrilled I’m up and running to collect the summer 2023 sunshine!”
Although projects can take longer, it’s always best to ensure homeowners feel comfortable the whole way through. Our job is simply to present the benefits and let the numbers speak for themselves—and in this case, they did.
