Aydin from Ontario originally took interest in solar to become more environmentally friendly.
With the world transitioning to clean energy for environmental reasons, many people are also looking to switch over to electric vehicles.
Aydin’s panels have produced 2408 kWh of power since his 5 kW installation was completed back in December of 2022. While he’s seen a decrease in his power bills. the new system now opens the door for EVs in the future. “One of the reasons (for going solar) was that I want to get an EV down the road, so I wanted to have the solar panels supply that.”
It’s not a surprise that solar and EVs go hand in hand. Polaron has an in-house brand, Pion Power, that designs and engineers clean energy products—including EV chargers. Aydin also recently won a Pion Power Flex-AC level 2 portable EV charger in a Polaron raffle, making it the perfect opportunity to make the switch. “I have a charger so might as well get an EV now”.
Polaron’s ultimate goal is to create a large network of green energy products and services that work together to make the world a better place for future generations. Having solar to help offset the cost of charging EVs makes ownership that much more appealing to those who already want to reduce their carbon footprint.
