Residential Ontario Solar and Battery Rebates
One major development is the new Home Renovations Savings Program for homeowners, covering up to 30% of total project costs for energy efficient upgrades.
The program includes a selection of upgrade options, including solar and battery installations. Ontario homeowners are eligible for up to $5000 for solar and $5000 for batteries, bringing the total incentive up to $10,000.
Another major component of the Ontario solar rebate is its emphasis on behind the meter distributed energy systems. This means incentives cannot be paired with net metering systems that export excess energy to the grid in exchange for credits.

Commercial Ontario Solar Rebate Program
