If you are at the rough-in inspection, AC Installation or Electrical Permit Application stage, please be aware we are experiencing delays.
About a month ago, NSP introduced a new phone system for scheduling inspections, intended to speed up their process. However, implementation of any new system is bound to have some chaos at the beginning. Please understand, we are experiencing delays due to the influx of calls NSP is currently receiving to their new system.
Although we try our best to schedule in advance, we now typically only receive confirmation from NSP a few days before the inspection. This, unfortunately, leaves us limited time to communicate and schedule accordingly with our customers.
Please know that Polaron is working closely with Nova Scotia Power to find a solution for these delays, and we’ll keep you updated as we hear more information. The new process introduced by NSP should make things more efficient in the long run and we we do expect things to improve as the system has time to be fully implemented. In the interim, we are hoping to provide solutions and options for the current backlog.
