The Edmonton Change for Climate Program is back—offering up to $100,000 for multi-unit residential buildings to install solar energy.
Buildings with more than 4 dwellings qualify for $0.50/watt for up to $4,000 per dwelling and a maximum of $100,000 per project. The Edmonton Change for Climate rebates can be used with the federal 30% refundable tax credits. By leveraging the rebates and available tax incentives, your building will generate fast returns through savings on energy expenses.
Over 50% of the program’s total rebates have already been claimed out of total funds of $2,500,000. Only a few buildings can still get approval for remaining funds based on first come first serve. Applications will officially close August 15 2025—or until funds run out.
How Can Buildings Qualify For Edmonton Change for Climate Rebate?
