The Polaron Commitment rebate is contingent on a Memorandum of Understanding.

The Client and PEC outlines the collaboration to design, procure, and construct a solar energy system eligible for future government rebate programs. Key points include:

Client Responsibilities:
The Client will provide specification request for the solar system, approve the total system cost, and make a cash purchase. To facilitate this, the Client will apply for loans through the Canada Greener Homes Loan program. If the loan application is denied, the Client may terminate the MOU and Purchase Agreement. However, if the denial is due to the Client's actions, they remain liable for obligations under the Purchase Agreement. Proof of rejection is required via a screen shot of application page, or e-mail from the loan officer indicating a rejection.

Rebate Application:
The Client will appoint PEC as their agent to apply for any available rebate programs announced by the government or local municipalities. Any rebates received must be paid to PEC, which will credit these amounts toward the Purchase Price. The Client is obligated to assist when required for any rebate applications and will be liable for loss rebates.

PEC Rebate:
If no rebate programs are available, PEC will offer a rebate of $1.00 per watt, up to a maximum of $5,000, payable after the system is fully paid off. If a rebate program offers less than $5,000, PEC will provide a top-up for eligible systems, but the rebates cannot be combined.

Polaron reserves the right to make adjustments and amendments to the agreement.

This agreement ensures a streamlined process for installing a solar energy system while maximizing potential financial benefits through government incentives.

Following the expiration of the labour warranty period, on service requests the Company shall bill $190 per hour, to a maximum of 3 hours, per visit. The Client is responsible for the cost of all materials and idling. The company shall provide a estimate of the cost of materials prior to commencing any work.

"Service Request" means work related to maintaining and technical assistance for the solar system installed on property and excludes special request, including but not limited to, temporary removal or reinstallation.
