Honourable Milestones
We’ve seen exponential growth with our installations, especially over the last few years. This year, we achieved over 8,000 total solar installations across Canada. With electricity rates on a steady incline, Canadians are finding an alternative clean energy solution in the form of solar. We’re so grateful to be able to help so many homeowners make the switch to a more sustainable lifestyle.
One of our biggest achievements to date has been celebrating 10 years of Polaron. We started our journey in 2013 with a mission to bring affordable solar solutions to Canadians across the country. In the past 10 years, we’ve developed our programs with affordability and accessibility in mind to ensure our customers can go solar without any financial stress.
Budding Commercial Developments
We’re making huge strides in the commercial solar market with huge plans on the horizon. Through tax credits and our competitive interest rates, we’re helping push Canada toward a cleaner and solar-powered future. We’re providing diverse application options for businesses, farms, industries and so much more.

In the last year, we’ve been honoured with our 3rd consecutive Consumer Choice Award, our second Homestar Best of Award and were named as a top energy provider by Energy Business Review.

Rebate Changes – Canada Greener Homes Grant Ending
It was announced that the Canada Greener Homes Grant (CGHG) is coming to an end and will no longer take on new applications past March 2024. The news came as a shock to many of us in the industry, as the program was expected to last until 2027.
CGHG offers homeowners up to $5000 to make energy-efficient upgrades to their homes—one of the popular options being solar. The program has helped many Canadian households make a positive impact on their home and the environment. Our in-house brand, Pion Power, is taking the industry by storm with lots of exciting new releases this year.
