My parents connected with Polaron and have been happy as clams; they don't have Facebook, but I thought I'd share my experience as I helped them set up. My dad had been looking into it for a few years, as they had hefty energy bills and wanted to help make their expenses more manageable. They had gotten a few quotes but my dad wanted to go with Polaron based on some of the reviews he'd seen. He also liked that they had offices in other provinces ... it made him feel comfortable, I think. The process did have a few delays along the way (understandable considering), but they checked in to keep my parents engaged. So far, so good. I'll update my review with more results as time goes on — especially as we head into winter.

We compared 3 quotes from different solar companies, and the final project is noticeable cheaper per KW than other companies for similar design and build, in addition, Polaron has the unique 0% Sunline program, it is really made the decision a no-brainer. What made us feel more convinced that Polaron was the only company advised us to add collar ties in our attic to support the extra solar weights. Both two other contractors told us it was unnecessary. Luckily, we had an engineer friend helped us to look into the calculation and turned out Polaron’s suggestion was correct. Polaron’s team looked after all the aspects from start to finish, and the local installers Polaron used were efficient and pleasant. The installation crew built it within days, in -10 C temperatures. Hard to come by people willing to work in that condition. Additionally, the box that gives us info was wonderful, it showed real-time data of our production and best of all, each panel. We found one of the panels generated lower compared to the others. I contacted the team and they came to help promptly. Good job Polaron.

I want to thank the entire Polaron team for doing such a great job for me. My project was a bit complicated, and the operation team revised my electricidal drawing many times. My home had a 100 Amp circuit breaker, which was out of capacity for an 8 Kw solar system. Panel upgrade to 200 Amp was about $2,000, which was too expensive for me. Polaron patiently worked with me to explore all the scenarios from reducing panels to Dual-lug interconnection. The solution helped me to save $1,000 to which I put into the lease anyways. I think the most you can put is $2000. We couldn’t have done it without them. My final solar system looks beautiful and works flawlessly. We are pleased with Polaron and recommended them as a trustworthy solar service provider.

Fairly quick install. I called a few other local companies many times and left messages but never reached them. Polaron called me back very shortly once I had the request and provided me with a detailed quote, for reference I reached out through facebook. Did what they said they would do.
